Paddy is a competitive runner who currently competes on the national and international stage. Prior to taking up running at the age of 20, Paddy played hockey at a high level for his school, at the University of Ulster, and for Annadale were he finished his playing career as player of the season.
A scholarship to the University Of Indianapolis, USA, switched Paddy’s attention to Athletics. It was this couple of years competing in the highly demanding NCAA collegiate circuit that made Paddy realise the benefit and role that regular treatment plays in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and in maintaining a neuromuscular balance.
In addition to his own experiences, Paddy has grown up in a family of international athletes from the sporting arenas of cycling and equestrianism that has reinforced the importance and role of regular massage and soft tissue treatment in maintaining and optimising peak performance.
Paddy is a qualified Neuromuscular Physical Therapist and Orthopaedic Sports Massage Therapist.
